Know who you're doing it for. Hold yourself to a standard. Keep showing up.
Every man has a team. For some it's a partner or kids. For others it's parents, mates, teammates, or the family they're still working to build. It can also be the man you're trying to become.
For the Team is a reminder of who you're doing it for. How you show up for them starts with the standard you hold yourself to.
What we stand for
Standards. How you do one thing is how you do most things. We care about the details: in training, in work, and in the clothes we make.
Humility. Aim high without the ego. You don't have to be the strongest, the richest or the loudest. Treat people well, whoever they are.
Discipline. Choose hard things, so you're better prepared for the ones you don't get to choose. When something isn't working, learn and adjust rather than pushing harder at the same wall.
Mateship. Back the blokes who back others. Character over follower counts.
Responsibility. Show up for your family, your mates and your commitments, especially when no one's keeping score.
Where you fit in
You don't need to have achieved anything to belong here. You just need to care about how you go about things.
Why we make clothes
Defender started as one shirt I wanted to wear. Read the full story. The clothes still have to earn their place on their own: heavyweight fabric, a fit we sampled until it was right, and details you notice every time you put it on. If what it stands for means something to you as well, good.
For the Team.
